Stephen Parisi Jr is a Jazz Bassist, Composer/Arranger, and Educator, originally from Buffalo, New York. Stephen began playing Bass in a professional context at the age of 13. Stephen received his Bachelor's Degree in Music from the Eastman School of Music where he was awarded the Schirmer Prize for Excellence.

After becoming one of the most in-demand bass players in Buffalo and Rochester, Stephen earned his Masters of Music from DePaul University in 2023. Over his career,

Stephen has played with an illustrious list of well-known figures in jazz, including Ben Paterson, Michael Allemana, Victor Garcia, Bobby Millitello, Tommy Gearheart, Bobby Jones, George Calldwell, Mark Kellogg, Gordon Webster, and Bob Sneider. Stephen is also a member of the Buffalo Jazz Collective and has toured with many bands, including the world-famous Glenn Miller Orchestra.

In addition, Stephen is also a very active composer and arranger, studying under masters of the craft including Tom Matta, Bill Dobbins, and Dave Rivello. His debut album will be released in 2025.
